The new Bear Grylls Knife by Gerber is getting a lot of popularity and for good reason. The new Bear Grylls Knife features a lot of top grade improvements to some of the already proven features of Gerber knives. Some of my favorite features are there fire steel that is comfortably attached to the sheath, the wet stone that is also attached to the sheath and the pummel on the butt of the knife.

Knife Features
The Bear Grylls knife by Gerber features a hefty 4.75 inch partially serrated high carbon blade that will keep an edge and is easy to sharpen. It has 3 lanyard holes, one at the butt of the knife, and two at the hilt of the blade. The 3 lanyard holes makes it indubitably easy to attach the knife to a stick or pole for, hunting fishing or defense. The rubberized grip on the Bear Grylls knife is highly comfortable and is designed to give you a solid hold on the knife even in a wet environment. The lanyard whistle is a nice increasing for scenarios that truly need you to grab the attentiveness of anyone in earshot.
Sheath Features
The Sheath is one of my favorite aspects of this survival knife. As mentioned above the knife comes with a fire steel which is my favorite recipe for getting a fire going in the great outdoors. The fire steel has its own sheath that it snaps into on the front of the blades sheath. On the back of the Kydex measure of the sheath there is a wet stone and there is also a survival guide that folds and fits in a pouch on the back of the kit.
